Request a project reviewSelect the work and handoff your project needs. The agreement identifies the included deliverables and responsibilities.
Identify endpoints, cable/fiber/port IDs, required methods, wavelengths, directions, instrument information and owner limits before work is accepted. Technical criteria come from the responsible specialist and owner.
Organize insertion-loss, OTDR and other specified records against the actual connection schedule. Keep traces, measured results and identifiers together rather than relying only on a summary marked pass.
Identify missing, inconsistent or failed records and route them for technical evaluation. Record repairs, changed splices, revised assignments and the required repeat tests.
Assemble the evidence and accepting party’s disposition. Network configuration, service activation and system-level commissioning are separate owner/operator responsibilities unless expressly included.

Test volume, inconsistent ids, failed results and retesting. The proposal separates professional work, outside charges and review dependencies.
Provide the controlling documents and remaining-action record. Identify what is accepted, what still requires a decision and what belongs to a separately contracted next stage.
Before you begin
They provide different evidence. Insertion-loss records address measured link loss under the specified method, while an optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) produces traces for analysis along the fiber. The owner’s specialist defines and interprets the required tests.
The authorized owner and responsible optical specialists evaluate results against the agreed criteria. Administrative assembly of reports does not substitute for technical acceptance.
