Does small work always avoid a permit?
No. Determine requirements for the actual work and location. Describe all affected systems rather than only the visible installation.
Can a manufacturer’s drawing be submitted directly?
It can be a supporting input. Site-specific dimensions, connections, supports and responsible technical review may still be required.
