  Coordinate geometry, structural and hydraulic design, circulation, treatment, equipment, power and bonding information. Bring manufacturer requirements and specialist calculations into a consistent package.

• Decks, barriers and support spaces

  Connect decks, drainage, barriers, gates, accessibility, pool houses and equipment enclosures to the main design. Alterations and repairs require review of retained components and changed operating conditions.

• Information to bring

  Survey and site plans, intended use, pool or spa concept, equipment information, existing aquatic records and any facility-operation or health-review requirements.

Decisions, fees and timing

Scope and dependencies determine the proposal. No universal price or approval date is assumed.

1. Confirm the basis and responsibility

   Review the available records, intended endpoint and authority to use the information. Assign missing inputs, technical decisions and the parties who can authorize changes.

2. Coordinate and review the work

   Prepare the included documents from agreed inputs, resolve interfaces with responsible specialists and track revisions. Record external decisions and conditions separately from work prepared for review.

3. Account for project-specific dependencies

   Facility use, ground and site conditions, existing systems, technical calculations, support buildings and separate authority reviews.

4. Deliver the defined milestone

   Provide the controlling documents and remaining-action record. Identify what is accepted, what still requires a decision and what belongs to a separately contracted next stage.

Pool classification and operating changes

Identify who uses the water, how access is arranged and whether rental, lessons or events are proposed. Private ownership alone does not settle the applicable public-pool classification.

• Rental-property pools and splash pads

  A rental-property pool needs an operating-use review with the relevant health and building authorities. A splash pad is an interactive water facility; establish its water source, collection, treatment and discharge arrangements rather than assuming a decorative-fountain scope. In Texas, consult the DSHS pool and interactive-water-feature programs for the actual facility. Supply admission and rental arrangements, expected users, site plans and existing approvals for a classification and approval register.

• Hydraulics and bonding are separate disciplines

  Pool hydraulics addresses circulation, piping, equipment and the agreed operating conditions. Pool bonding connects the applicable conductive components as part of the qualified electrical scope. Equipment substitutions or deck changes can affect both records. Bring pump and treatment data, pool geometry, piping and electrical records so the aquatic and electrical specialists can coordinate drawings, calculations and inspection access before components are concealed.
