What the scope can include

• Alignment and profiles

  Coordinate horizontal route, stationing, grades, proposed depths and crossing profiles with survey and utility information. Mark assumptions and investigation gaps that affect the design.

• Ducts and underground structures

  Document conduit or duct-bank arrangements, handholes, vaults, transitions, entries and connection details. Coordinate loading, drainage, access, pulling and equipment interfaces with the assigned specialists.

• Utilities, property and restoration

  Track clashes, easements, roadway limits, work areas and agreed surface restoration. Keep the proposed method and limits consistent with the applicable permit and property package.

• Controlled construction documents

  Maintain sheet indexes, details, approved criteria and revision records. Field changes return for technical and permission review before being represented as an authorized route.

• Information to bring

  Verified base mapping, approved alignment/depth criteria, utilities and installation method. Provide the current versions and identify information that remains unverified.

• The agreed handoff

  A scoped underground drawing package, utility/conflict register and documented design inputs and unresolved conditions.

Scope and dependencies determine the proposal. No universal price or approval date is assumed.

1. Confirm the basis and responsibility

   Review the available records, intended endpoint and authority to use the information. Assign missing inputs, technical decisions and the parties who can authorize changes.

2. Coordinate and review the work

   Prepare the included documents from agreed inputs, resolve interfaces with responsible specialists and track revisions. Record external decisions and conditions separately from work prepared for review.

3. Account for project-specific dependencies

   Route length, profile complexity, utility conflicts and agency formats. The proposal separates professional work, outside charges and review dependencies.

4. Deliver the defined milestone

   Provide the controlling documents and remaining-action record. Identify what is accepted, what still requires a decision and what belongs to a separately contracted next stage.
