Documentation and Permit Support for Engineers
Turn technical direction into coordinated project records. True North supports engineering teams with input collection, drawing production, interface tracking and permit-response administration.
For owners, project teams and delivery partners nationwide. The written scope identifies True North’s work, the responsible professionals and any separately contracted construction.
Request a project reviewWhat the scope can include
Select the work and handoff your project needs. The agreement identifies the included deliverables and responsibilities.
Design inputs and equipment records
Collect owner decisions, equipment schedules, authorized base drawings and missing technical information. Preserve source dates and route unresolved criteria to the responsible engineer.
Drawings and discipline interfaces
Prepare the agreed backgrounds and drawings under engineering direction, coordinating geometry and interfaces with other disciplines. Record revision instructions and approval before issue.
Review and approved-document registers
Track comments, technical responses and controlling versions. Administrative support does not transfer calculation, design, sealing or technical acceptance responsibilities.
Prepare for the assignment
You can start with incomplete records. Tell us what is available and what still needs to be established.
Information to bring
Design criteria and instructions, approved backgrounds, equipment information, CAD requirements and the named technical reviewer.
The agreed handoff
Coordinated drawing-production outputs, an input/decision register and controlled submission records.
Decisions, fees and timing
Scope and dependencies determine the proposal. No universal price or approval date is assumed.
Confirm the basis and responsibility
Review the available records, intended endpoint and authority to use the information. Assign missing inputs, technical decisions and the parties who can authorize changes.
Coordinate and review the work
Prepare the included documents from agreed inputs, resolve interfaces with responsible specialists and track revisions. Record external decisions and conditions separately from work prepared for review.
Account for project-specific dependencies
Assignment size, source-data quality, file standards, review cycles and changes to the authorized technical direction.
Deliver the defined milestone
Provide the controlling documents and remaining-action record. Identify what is accepted, what still requires a decision and what belongs to a separately contracted next stage.

Common questions
Who approves engineering changes?
The assigned responsible engineer. We document questions and implement authorized directions within the agreed support scope.
How is overflow or repeat work scoped?
Agree the specific deliverables, source information, review authority, file formats and handoff milestone. New technical design, field investigation or additional submissions are identified as changes when outside that agreement.
