What the scope can include

Select the work and handoff your project needs. The agreement identifies the included deliverables and responsibilities.

  • Guest accommodations

Coordinate room layouts, accessible features, bathrooms, circulation and building-system interfaces for hotels, lodging and related visitor properties.

  • Public and support spaces

Bring lobbies, food service, meeting areas, recreation, pools, laundry, storage and staff functions into the scope. Identify technical and operating reviews beyond the guest-room work.

  • Occupied-property phasing

Coordinate work zones, guest access, temporary arrangements and owner operating needs. Connect phased construction with responsible life-safety decisions and the required approvals.

Prepare for the assignment

You can start with incomplete records. Tell us what is available and what still needs to be established.

  • Information to bring

Property plans, room and amenity program, brand/owner standards, existing approvals, equipment information and proposed construction phases.

  • The agreed handoff

A hospitality-specific design and approval package with guest, amenity and operational interfaces coordinated.

Decisions, fees and timing

Scope and dependencies determine the proposal. No universal price or approval date is assumed.

  1. Confirm the basis and responsibility

Review the available records, intended endpoint and authority to use the information. Assign missing inputs, technical decisions and the parties who can authorize changes.

  2. Coordinate and review the work

Prepare the included documents from agreed inputs, resolve interfaces with responsible specialists and track revisions. Record external decisions and conditions separately from work prepared for review.

  3. Account for project-specific dependencies

Occupied operations, repeated room types, retained systems, specialized amenities and owner/brand review cycles.

  4. Deliver the defined milestone

Provide the controlling documents and remaining-action record. Identify what is accepted, what still requires a decision and what belongs to a separately contracted next stage.

Common questions

Can renovations proceed while the property operates?

The team must define the actual work zones, safe operating arrangements, access and approvals. The scope can coordinate phasing without promising uninterrupted operation.

Does a guest-room scope cover restaurants and pools?

Only when expressly included. Those amenities can require their own specialist designs and operating reviews.
