Inspection coordination
Organize inspection requests, approved documents, access and correction lists. Track results against the correct permit and work area; the authorized inspector or authority makes the acceptance decision.
Testing and commissioning
Coordinate materials tests, system testing, balancing, commissioning and specialist verification where included. Match reports to locations and equipment, and route failures to the responsible party for resolution.
Approvals and owner handover
Collect final approvals, occupancy-related records, as-builts, manuals, warranties and outstanding actions. Separate operational readiness, permit closure and contractual completion instead of assuming one proves all three.

Review the available records, intended endpoint and authority to use the information. Assign missing inputs, technical decisions and the parties who can authorize changes.
Coordinate and review the work
Prepare the included documents from agreed inputs, resolve interfaces with responsible specialists and track revisions. Record external decisions and conditions separately from work prepared for review.
Account for project-specific dependencies
Missing records, reinspection, correction work, testing access and the availability of agency, owner and specialist acceptance.
Deliver the defined milestone
Provide the controlling documents and remaining-action record. Identify what is accepted, what still requires a decision and what belongs to a separately contracted next stage.

Does passing one inspection close the project?
No. Verify every applicable permit, discipline and contractual handoff requirement. The closeout register distinguishes each accepting party and remaining action.
Can missing as-builts be created from the original design?
Design drawings are background. Record drawings need supported installation information and must identify what remains unverified.
